With multiple franchise brands out there making promises, choosing the right franchise can be a challenge. We are confident that you will see we are different from these other brands in every way. Tommy Gun’s isn’t your typical barbershop, and we’re definitely not your average franchisor.

Barbershop Environment

This is not your typical Barbershop environment. Fusing long-lost character with millennial tech, our barbershops seamlessly integrate convenience, comfort and luxury to elevate the customer experience. From our red barber chairs, to our in-mirror TV’s, to our waiting and reception area, our Barbershop environment is without equal.

Unrivaled Product Range

Forget having one or two products tucked away behind the counter…we deliver a true men’s grooming experience by offering a comprehensive selection of new and innovative retail products including hair care, skin care, shave & beard care, clippers, trimmers, razors, shave hardware and gifting. We’re proud to partner with some of the biggest names in the industry.

Marketing

Our brand is our strength. Through our National Marketing platform, we think big and target local, driving strong customer engagement and creating huge brand awareness. Across radio, cinema, social media and digital platforms, coupled with local partnerships, sponsorships and charitable initiatives, we’re experts in getting cut-through in a crowded market.

...Your Success

Technology

Ultimately, a business will only succeed with the correct systems and processes in place to ensure a smooth and viable operation. We’ve partnered with some of the biggest providers in the industry to develop bespoke systems and software solutions designed to make managing your business as simple as possible.

Operations Teams

Each barbershop is assigned a dedicated Shop Support Manager – your go-to operations guru – to help owners master operational tasks, optimise business performance, and control costs while driving maximum in-shop efficiency.

We Have Global Scale

New Zealand has taken to Tommy Gun’s like a barber to a beard. Since moving across the water from Canada & Australia, the expansion has been rapid with 2 barbershops opening in the first half of 2023. It’s given retail centres a new offering, business owners a great opportunity and ultimately it’s given guys the destination for all their grooming needs. And the word is spreading quickly – after all, mates don’t let mates get a bad haircut.

FAQ

The simple answer is no. Our Business Partners come to us from a wide range of backgrounds and industries. We look for leadership experience and a solid understanding of the importance of operational excellence. We couple that with all the tools and training you will need to succeed.
The Tommy Gun’s Franchising and Leasing department sources the locations, but we are also open to any opportunities presented to us by prospective business owners. The viability of any location will need to be established through consideration of traffic flow, occupancy costs, exposure, market demographics and the success of other retailers in the trading area.
The Tommy Gun’s Franchise Fee is $30,000. 6.6% of your gross sales are collected as a royalty fee and 2.7% is collected and redistributed towards brand development programs.
Yes. Many of our Business Owners have multiple locations. The Tommy Gun’s business model lends itself to owners who have strong financial and team management systems that can be leveraged across additional sites.
This is dependent on a number of factors, including your level of involvement in the operation, sales performance, cost management, occupancy costs, location and market. We have developed a number of business models that can provide indicative scenarios relative to revenue and expenditure, but these are only guidelines.
Simply complete the Enquiry Form and submit it to us. Following your application, a Tommy Gun’s representative will contact you to begin the qualification process.
